Editorial policy
Golden News Review aims to make its countryside coverage clear, careful and open about what is known and what remains uncertain.
Accuracy and context
We check factual statements against suitable information before publication and take care not to present an interpretation as established fact. Landscapes differ, and a feature may have more than one explanation; our wording should reflect that. Readers can contact us through the Contact page with questions or relevant corrections.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for their relevance to the publication's subject and readers. A commercial relationship does not determine our conclusions or guarantee coverage.
Corrections
When a published item contains a material error, we review the information and correct it where warranted. We aim to make meaningful corrections clear in the affected item rather than silently leaving a known error in place.
Partner material and illustrations
Sponsored work and partner material are labelled so readers can distinguish them from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; when used, they are identified as such and are not presented as documentary photographs.
A landscape is never just a view
The countryside carries clues in its contours, boundaries and seasonal changes. We look for those clues with curiosity, and leave room for what a view alone cannot tell us.
